Firstly she has persistent sterile \npyuria with some associated frequency and nocturia. She also complains of stress incontinence especially \non coughing and sneezing and is wearing pads. Oddly, she describes some renal angle pain. I believe a \nKUB carried out by yourself revealed some calcification in relation to the renal tract. She describes a good \nflow with no incomplete voiding and has a very small caffeine intake. She has previously had endometrial \nablation and her periods are now regular. She had four children, the first was a forceps delivery. Her \nbowels are regular. ~She has previously had psittacosis, erythema multiforme clinic fatigue and arthritis. \nShe has no history of diabetes or asthma. She occasionally takes Celebrex and is allergic to Brufen. \nAbdominal examination revealed her to be overweight. Her abdomen was soft and non-t\u00e9ender. Perineal \nexamination revealed some slight anterior descent and leakage of urine on coughing. \nIn the first instance I am going to arrange for her to have three early morning urines checked. I have also \n) arranged an IVU and flexible cystoscopy. In view of her frequency and urgency I would be grateful if you \nwould try her on Detrusitol XL 4mgs once per day and with regards to her stress incontinence I am arranging \nfor her to have some urodynamics.
