Further \nto my last letter, all her investigations so far have been normal, in \nparticular the pulmonary function tests were normal, the blood tests were . \nnormal. We were planning to check her oxygen \u2018saturation and we were hoping to \ndo this on the 10th December since she wds due to be admitted to ward \u20184B for a \ngynaecological procedure. Unfortunately this admission was cancelled. The. \noxygen saturation monitoring overnight is likely to be normal and we do not \nhave a very high index of suspicion for any degree - of sleep apnoea oOr \nnocturnal hypoxia. In the light of this I am not arranging for her to have \nthe oxygen saturation monitoring overnight. I will write to Mrs Clelland \ndirectly and inform her of this. : \nThe\ufb02overall feeling is that there is not anything serious going on with this \nlady and I have discharged her from the clinic.
