A brief outline of history, symptoms and signs is given below: \nI would appreciate your assessment of this 34 year old woman who complains of \nmenorrhagia for the past few months, and a constant vaginal discharge and \nvulval irritation. At the time of examination she was tender on bimanual \npalpation to the right side particularly. I felt the uterus was large but \nthen Mrs. Clelland is extremely large herself but I.-wondered if she did have \nsome fibroids in her uterus. A smear carried out on 27th March, 1992, was reported \n., as negative, extremely inflammatory smear. On 27th March, 1992, I prescribed \nDicynene to take 4\/6 hourly -for use with her next period. \nI would value your assessment and help in her further management. \nApart from her obesity, her general health is good.
