' \nGross: Acircle of skin, 5mm 'diarheter \nMicro: The epldermls has focal areas of parakeratosis and in addition there is a moderate degree \nof spongiosis with accompanying lymphocyte exocytosis. In contrast to the previous blopsy (H99- \n10876) there are also a small number of degenerate keratinocytes. The papillary dermis is markedly \n.oedematous with blurring of the dermoid epidermal interface due to the spongiosis. Within the \ndeeper tissues there is a very prominent perivascular lymphocytic infiltrate similar to that seen \npreviously. Overall these appearances are consistent with a pattern of erythema multiforme \n\u201cparticuiarly in the light of the variztion seen within the current and previous lesions. \nReported by: - T '
