Z58.1 \n3. 3. \nDear Dr Hardie, \nThis lady was admitted from the waiting list and underwent the above procedure for treatment of chronic Achilles tendon \nrupture. A large gap of about 7-8cm was identified and this was bridged by reflecting part of the tendon proximal to distal \nand in addition to this a tendon transfer was done using the flexor tendon to the big toe. She is currently mobilising in a \nbelow knee plaster and will attend the nurses for change of plaster in 10 days time from now. \nI will see her in 6-8 weeks for removal of plaster and physiotherapy.
