She has arthritis of her hips for which she \n. takes Cerebrex. I note that she had ABPIs measured which were normal. \n\u2019 o \" \nOn examination she has,normal foot pulses and popliteal pulse but her femoral pulses were \nvery difficult to feel given her 0bes1ty \nShe has a strong family history of peripheral vascular disease with a sister who has had an \namputation. She has never be\u00e9n a smoker. \nI am not convinced her sy\ufb01lptoms are due to peripheral vascular disease but given her risk \nfactors' and her history of claudication I think it would be worthwhile putting her on a \ntreadmill to see whether there is any significant drop on her pressures on exercise.
