She was reviewed earlier in the year with regards to non-resolving pain to the right \nfoot. She is known to be non-insulin diabetic and had dropped a bottie on her foot with subsequent \ndiscomfort about 6 months ago. Subsequent MRI indicates there to be arthritic changes fo the 2nd \ntarsal metatarsal joint. These have been discussed with the Orthopa\u00e9dic Consultant and he \nadvised that perhaps Mrs Clelland may benefit from steroid injection. \nWe spoke to Mrs Clelland with regards to this and she was happy to undertake this. 0.5ml 40mg \ndepo-medrone with lignocaine was applied to the right mid foot area to see if this will reduce some \n_of the inflammation she is experiencing. We have also supplied her with an air cast boot to help \n) with mobilising and she is struggling with her mobility.
