She has a history of first microscopic haematuria \nwith normal investigations and further frank haematuria with a normal renal ultrasound, flexible \ncystoscopy and CT IVU. These investigations were concluded in 2008 .and she has had a further \nepisode of frank haematuria in early 2010. She states that this is painless and resolved \nspontaneously. | note that the MSSU that you sent in a few weeks after the event showed no, \ngrowth and no haematuria. \nMrs Clelland has remained asymptomatic for the past three months. Unfortunately she has had a \ndifficult time with operations on her foot and awaits surgical mvestlgatton of a breast lump. I note \nshe has a history of hypertenswn and type |l dlabetes \nWe have repeated an MSSU today and will forward you any. abnormal restilts. | have encouraged \nMrs Clelland to provide urine samples for sending off anytime she notes any frank haematuria or \nany symptoms of cystitis. |.explained it is very helpful for us to be able to see a pattern on the \ncomputer of cultures and haematuria. It could be that this is a recurrent infection or passage of \nmultiple small stones. In.any case we will follow her up and.see how she is domg in three months \ntime.
