He has been supported by nursing, p*\/sictherapy, pharmacy and occupational \ntherapy staff. \nHis inhaler technique has been reviewed and education provided, including encouragement \nto use twice daily as prescribed. We have supported with breathing techniques, chest \nclearance and pacing, as well as a home exercise programme and stairs practice. He was \nalso reviewed by our Cccupational Therapist, and is in the process of applying for a house \nmove. \nWhilst his COPD symptoms remain stable at prosent, with Sp02 of 93%, he continues to \nexperience lower limb ocdema - not currently worsening - and we have encouraged him to \nconlac! the GP surgery for review. His blood pres s was 135\/73 at his last visit. \nMr Norwood feels he is managing well with pacing strategies and has met his goals to get \nback to his workshaop.
