I see that she had a recent renal ultrasound that showed increased \nechogenicity in the calluses which is suggestive of nephrocalcinosis. Interestingly, her immunology screen was done and \nshe is positive with ANA 1-160 speckled and positive La antibody level which could be associated with sjogren\u2019s \nsyndrome. Her serum bicarbonate level has also been on the low side previously at between 15 to 17 albeit it was normal \nin February this year. I have appointed this lady & routine new patient appointment but in the meantime please let us \nknow if there is any deterioration to her renal function, it might be useful to have her urine dipstick
